Sign your Support: Hibakusha Appeal for the Elimination of Nuclear Weapons

This week, seventy-five years ago, the United States conducted two nuclear attacks against the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan — destroying infrastructure and devastating people.

Nuclear weapons are still here. And so are the hibakusha, the survivors of those attacks, and today, they’re asking for your support in calling on all governments to ban and eliminate nuclear weapons.

Will you take two seconds to affirm your support for the Hibakusha Appeal to the United Nations to ban nuclear weapons now?

I, the undersigned, hereby support the Appeal of the Hibakusha:

Earnestly desiring the elimination of nuclear weapons without delay, we, the Hibakusha, call on all State Governments to conclude a treaty to ban and eliminate nuclear weapons. As of the adoption of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons on July 7, 2017, this Campaign now calls on all State Governments to join the Treaty and achieve the total elimination of nuclear weapons.
