The Israeli government has barred entry for Rep. Ilhan Omar for her political views, and says Rep. Rashida Tlaib can only enter to visit her grandmother if she stays silent.

Incredibly Rep. Tlaib has rejected the cruel choice of deciding between her family and silencing her voice, a false binary totally at odds with basic democratic principles ALL Members of Congress commit to uphold. The reality is this is yet another attempt by the Israeli government to squash dissent and calls for equal rights for all in Israel and Palestine.

That’s why we’re asking all our Members of Congress to stand in solidarity with Reps. Tlaib and Omar and commit not to travel to Israel until they are allowed to enter without preconditions.
