Congress: Investigate and remove members who incited violence

Right now, we must fight for accountability and push through the harmful complicity and silence we’ve seen from Donald Trump and his cronies. We must not forget that police and members of Congress who gave an oath to govern and protect us enabled the insurrection at the Capitol. We cannot move forward until we are sure this will never happen again.

Rep. Cori Bush has introduced a resolution that, if passed, would investigate and call for expulsion of members of Congress who violated their oath of office to uphold the Constitution by supporting and inciting an attack on our country.

The January 6 attack on our country by right-wing militants was treasonous. The members of Congress who fueled and incited the attack with misinformation and complicity must be held accountable and removed from office immediately.
