Win Without War

Let’s Pass the National Security Reforms and Accountability Act — now!

Reps. McGovern and Meijer just introduced a new, bipartisan bill to curtail executive power on critical national security issues by bringing the power over war and peace closer to the PEOPLE, through our members of Congress.

The truth is, going to war should be hard. Declaring a national emergency should be hard. Selling deadly weapons should be hard.

But right now, the power over ALL of those decisions rests in the hands of just ONE person — at least until the National Security Reforms and Accountability Act (NSRAA) is passed. This bill will get our constitutional checks and balances in order by requiring congressional buy-in on key areas like warmaking, arms sales, and national emergencies.

This bill is a HUGE step forward in ending executive overreach and preventing future forever wars. And that’s why we need you to add your name to help get every member in the House of Representatives on board NOW.
