Win Without War

Tell Congress: No hearings on Afghanistan without Afghan voices!

As the House of Representatives gears up to investigate how the United States’ withdrawal from Afghanistan took place, it is crucial to make sure that we do not forget the Afghan people.

The fact of the matter is that without Afghan voices in the room, any hearings that do take place will be both incomplete and ineffective. Afghan voices are critical to understanding the true impact of the withdrawal and the ways in which it has impacted their daily lives.

If we only have the military brass testify in the hearings, we’ll be erasing the fact that the war in Afghanistan has had devastating consequences on the Afghan people. Simply put, it will be a one-sided Pentagon PR show.

That’s why it is so important that you add your name to this petition demanding that Congress include Afghan voices. If enough of us speak out, we can turn this hearing into real accountability for the Afghan people.
