Trump’s reckless and illegal actions just put us on the brink of a major war with Iran, putting millions of people in immediate danger.

Trump ordered multiple B-2 bombers to drop bombs on three nuclear sites in Iran: an under-mountain facility at Fordow, a larger enrichment plant at Natanz, and a third site near the ancient city of Isfahan. Iranian retaliation is horrifyingly likely and millions of people across an entire region are at incredible, urgent risk.

This is nothing short of a national emergency. That’s why Congress must immediately convene to pass war powers resolutions that block Trump from further escalation and demand diplomacy.

Today, we need to do what we do best: Turn up the pressure to stop a war.
