Win Without War

Tell the Senate: Pass the JRDs and block weapons bound for the Israeli government

So far there’s been little U.S. action to pull Israeli PM Netanyahu from this horrific strategy. But as soon as next week, the Senate could vote on multiple joint resolutions of disapproval (JRDs) that together, would BLOCK $20 billion worth of weapons currently bound for the Israeli government.

These votes could be a crucially needed and overdue signal that the DC tide is turning on U.S. complicity in suffering in Gaza and beyond — or it could be a moment for business as usual.

Activists like you have a huge role to play in what happens next. We know what we're up against now and in the months ahead. But together, we are powerful enough to build a coalition that can turn the tide on a broken status quo that prioritizes profit and war over people and peace.

How do we know? We’ve done it before. That’s why our work to build the kind of grassroots power that can get every senator to support this crucial legislation is ramping up again — and we need everyone speaking out now.

To members of the 118th Senate:

Multiple joint resolutions of disapproval (JRDs) that together, would BLOCK $20 billion worth of weapons currently bound for the Israeli government, were recently introduced by Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Peter Welch (VT), and Jeff Merkley (D-OR).

U.S. weapons have been used over and over again to target civilians in Gaza and Lebanon. As the situation continues to deteriorate and millions of lives remain at risk, I urge you to support this urgently needed legislation. By doing so you can help end U.S. complicity in Israeli PM Netanyahu’s devastating violence.

If you’re already in support, I thank you and implore you to do all you can to pass this legislation.
