Tell Congress: Ban JROTC instructors from promoting the NRA in our schools

The New York Times recently reported that the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) has promoted the National Rifle Association (NRA) and its extremist positions to students in schools across the country.

This is deeply concerning. The NRA consistently opposes common-sense gun reform measures supported by the overwhelming majority of the people in the United States, from background checks to bans on assault weapons. The group also has a long history of promoting extremist and dangerous views, including conspiracy theories and inciting violence.

Our children deserve to feel safe and supported in their learning environments, and promoting the NRA goes directly against this fundamental value. Tell Congress to ban JROTC instructors from promoting the NRA in our schools.
