Letter to Congressional Leadership on Nuclear Frontline Community COVID $

From the Navajo Nation to the Marshall Islands, Indigenous and island communities harmed by U.S. nuclear weapons activities are at greater risk from COVID-19 right NOW.

Also, right now — as you read these very words — Congress is debating who to help in the next COVID-19 relief package.

Effective coronavirus response means that those who need care receive it — including those whose underlying health conditions from radiation exposure linked to nuclear weapons activities hold them at greater risk of contracting COVID-19. Laws to help nuclear frontline communities don’t go far enough, and don’t help enough impacted peoples.

That’s why we’re demanding the next COVID-19 relief package include funding for healthcare access to nuclear frontline communities.

Write and tell Congressional Leadership: COVID-19 relief aid for nuclear frontline communities now!
