Win Without War

Tell Congress: Block $8BN in weapons bound for the Israeli gov’t

The death toll in Gaza alone is well past 45,000 and includes thousands of children killed by the Israeli military’s bombs. Over the weekend, hospitals already at a breaking point were overwhelmed by strikes that killed 200 people. Meanwhile hostages have now been languishing for over a year.

In the face of this incalculable suffering, the U.S. government should be doing all it can to use its leverage to secure a ceasefire and get the remaining hostages home. Unfortunately, Axios reports that the Biden administration has just informed Congress of a parting gift to fuel PM Netanyahu’s brutal war: $8 BILLION worth of fighter jets, attack helicopters, artillery, and more.

The potential for U.S. complicity in even more violence and suffering couldn't be higher, and Congress must act to BLOCK this sale — quickly.

We’ve made critical progress in building a growing coalition of lawmakers ready and willing to do what it takes to end the violence. But we’re still short of the votes necessary to keep these weapons out of PM Netanyahu’s hands. The good news is that we’ve got tens of thousands of activists like you — and when we all speak together, we can’t be ignored. Will you send a critically needed message to your members of Congress today?

Congress can stop a sale like this any time before the weapons are delivered. To block it, however, we’ll need to jump into action NOW. Add your name to tell the 119th Congress to take human rights and accountability seriously and say no more offensive weapons for PM Netanyahu’s devastating wars.

To members of the 119th Congress:

The U.S. government should be using every ounce of influence to end the violence, get the hostages home, and save lives across Israel, Palestine, and beyond. That won’t happen if we start another year by sending more weapons to the Israeli military without condition.

I urge you to do all you can to immediately block offensive U.S. weapons sales to Israel, including the $8 billion transfer of fighter jets, attack helicopters, and artillery just announced by the State Department.
