COVID-19 is spreading out of control in Washington, DC, and the numbers are increasing around the country. The Washington Post has reported that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in quarantine after exposure to the virus (and after holding large, mask-optional, indoor gatherings — in violation of recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and DC Health). A “packed season of holiday parties” is currently planned.

The Trump administration’s days are numbered and especially now, officials looking for their next jobs are more susceptible to political pressure and bad press. Let’s show them and Donald Trump that in addition to putting the community at risk, these parties are a PR disaster. Four years in, we STILL demand better — we are ready to hold them accountable now, and after they leave office.
