Win Without War

No More Wars

Trump’s illegal Iran war has recklessly set millions of lives on edge and destabilized an entire region.

That includes tensions between Yemen’s Houthi rebels and the Saudi government, which spiked late this summer, collapsing a life-saving four-year truce. As an organization committed to peace, we deplore the violence, grieve the loss of life, and urge a swift, diplomatic resolution. But as Trump considers entering the conflict, we know we need to go further.

People pay the ultimate price for this violence, which is already quickly spilling across borders. In a likely war crime, a Houthi missile strike on a Riyadh airport killed thirteen people and wounded hundreds more. Meanwhile, Saudi forces are also involved in potential war crimes: bombing Sana’a, including targeting civilian infrastructure.

It all signals a return to the dark days of a humanitarian crisis that Win Without War and activists like you worked so hard to address.

Ongoing war in Iran and the threat of U.S. military involvement in Yemen will only deepen the violence we’re seeing and lead to further suffering. That’s why Congress must pull Trump off this disastrous path.

Violence is quickly expanding and spilling across borders in the Middle East. I urge you to both end Trump’s illegal Iran war and put up roadblocks preventing him from escalating the conflict in Yemen.
