Tell U.S. Governors: Don’t Send Troops to the U.S.-Mexico Border

Congress has refused to build Donald Trump’s hateful border wall, so he’s decided to put on his Commander-in-Chief hat and order the military to be his wall at the U.S.-Mexico border.

But the federal government can’t deploy the National Guard to the border without the cooperation of U.S. governors. And Oregon Governor Kate Brown is putting her foot down and refusing to comply with Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda. That’s the kind of leadership we need from all 50 governors, but so far, Governor Brown is the only one taking a stand.

Add your name and urge U.S. governors to follow Governor Brown’s example and refuse to help Donald Trump militarize our border.

Please block Donald Trump’s dangerous anti-immigrant agenda and refuse to send National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border.

From deporting DREAMers from the only home they’ve ever known, to threatening to start a devastating nuclear war with North Korea, Trump’s racist immigration agenda and violence-first foreign policy have done nothing but jeopardize communities at home and abroad. Further militarizing the U.S.-Mexico border won’t make Americans safer — instead, it will terrorize immigrants and cost billions of public dollars.

I urge you to protect American communities and American values and refuse to help Trump further militarize our border.
