Win Without War

Who needs $1,760 more? You or Pete Hegseth’s reckless Pentagon?

Mounting evidence of U.S. war crimes, thousands dead, an entire region on edge, a deepening global economic crisis — and there’s STILL no end to Trump’s illegal war in sight. In fact, it’s terrifyingly likely to get worse as another U.S. carrier, along with 10,000 troops, makes its way to the Middle East.

The harm and suffering are incalculable. What’s not is the financial impact, and Moody's Analytics Chief Economist Mark Zandi recently estimated that to be $230 BILLION.

That means your family has spent roughly $1,760 extra because of Trump’s illegal war. Luckily Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) has a fix to get it back: The Illegal War Refund Act. This bill would require the government to calculate the war’s economic impact on U.S. taxpayers, CUT the Pentagon budget by that amount, and then send those funds back to our families.

It all comes down to a simple question: Who needs $1,760 more: You or Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon?

Outrage over Trump’s war and its unconscionable costs is growing. Right now, lawmakers need to hear an unequivocal message that this war needs to end, the Pentagon should answer for its waste, and people everywhere, from service-members on the USS Lincoln or families in Iran, deserve accountability.

Take a crucial step toward justice and peace today.

To members of the 119th House of Representatives:

American families have spent roughly $1,760 extra because of Trump’s unpopular, unauthorized war on Iran. The Illegal War Refund Act is a commonsense approach to hold the U.S. government accountable for a war Americans never wanted and that Congress never authorized, and a fair attempt at making families whole.
