Congress: No new money to expand the U.S. nuclear arsenal!

We’ve never been closer to seeing the entire global nuclear arms control regime dismantled.

With Putin ratcheting up tensions, congressional hawks will likely try to expand the already MASSIVE U.S. nuclear arsenal. But this will only escalate the possibility of a doomsday scenario. As you read this, the Biden administration is finalizing next year’s budget. That means weapons lobbyists are heading to the Hill to demand more money for dangerous and completely unnecessary nukes.

It’s SO important that we strengthen the pro-peace, pro-disarmament majority NOW. Here’s the plan: We’re clearing our desks to go from office to office to ensure that Congress hears from more than just hawks. We want YOUR voice represented as loud as ever.

Together, we’ll BLOCK any hawkish attempts to pad the weapons and war budget with nukes in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), while simultaneously gearing up to STOP Congress from a nuclear spree during the appropriations process. It’s all coming to a head in the next few weeks, and with so much on the line, we need you with us.
