Gmail is on the verge of launching a pilot program that would allow federal campaigns, party committees, and leadership PACs to send you political spam you never signed up for. 

Why? Politicians have been pressuring Google to let them play by a totally different set of rules. Which is outrageous because they aren’t entitled to your inbox.
