MISSION ACCOMPLISHED — that was the banner under which George W. Bush gave a speech on the deck of an aircraft carrier to declare that “in the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed.”

That speech was 20 years ago this May. And now 20 years later, we’re still picking up the pieces of the endless war Bush and his band of neocons launched under a banner of LIES. 

Our team here at Win Without War, along with our coalition partners and champions in Congress, are working around the clock to finally, fully end the Iraq war and repeal the 2002 AUMF — the legal authority that enabled the invasion. 

Together, our collective pressure has already forced the Senate to pass the repeal back in March and now it’s in the House. President Biden has announced that he will sign the repeal — that means all we have to do is get it through the House. With so much  momentum on our side we must act now!
