Win Without War

Senators: Cosponsor the National Security Powers Act!

Decade after decade, the list of unilateral decisions that push us toward war has grown: George Bush Senior's interventions in Panama and Somalia, Obama’s airstrikes in Yemen and Libya, Trump’s assassination of Iranian military general Qasem Soleimani, Biden’s bombings in Syria and Iraq.

But there’s exciting news for those of us in the fight to end endless wars. Senators Chris Murphy, Bernie Sanders, and Mike Lee have just introduced a bipartisan bill that will overhaul U.S. foreign policy by reasserting Congress’s — and by extension, YOUR — authority over pressing issues of war and peace.

The National Security Powers Act (S. 2391) is how we end the presidential power grabs and work to close the door on an era of endless war. But it won’t go anywhere unless we help build the power behind it. And that’s where you come in.

Sign now and urge your senators to reassert their congressional duties over war and peace and cosponsor S. 2391!
