Win Without War

A $1.5 TRILLION Pentagon budget? Not on our watch.

$1.5 TRILLION for weapons and war. That's Trump's budget — and he wants your tax dollars to pay for it.

Earlier this week, Trump said the U.S. government shouldn’t pay for child or health care because he needs all the money he can to finance his reckless wars. He’ll go even further to deprioritize people's needs if Congress passes this dangerous budget.

It’s the largest single-year increase in Pentagon spending in decades. To make it happen, Trump’s also calling for a 10% CUT in non-defense discretionary funding — things like education, public health, scientific research, national parks, and more. And that’s all before you add in an additional $200 BILLION he’ll reportedly ask for to further his illegal, deeply unpopular war on Iran.

Lawmakers are deciding how they’ll negotiate or push back on this budget proposal now. We know they’re already hearing from a lot of people: special interests, the White House, the weapons lobby and more.

Let’s drown out their cries for war funding with a push for peace: Tell Congress to reject this dangerous budget and invest in communities, not weapons and war!

To members of the 119th Congress:

Communities across the country are desperate for investments in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and more. The Trump administration’s $1.5 trillion Pentagon budget request for FY2027 is an unjustifiable down payment on war and violence.

Congress must soundly reject this — and any — Pentagon increase.
